  1. As a marketer looking for product creation, this could fantastic. You can essentially get a 25 page ebook (probably a give away with opt in) for $25. That’s pretty darn good. As a writer it seems like a lot of work for not that much. You could prob make a little more writing on a site like fiverr.com or textbroker.com. Just my opinion.

At around 450 words per page, lots of fiverr people already charge $1 per in order to be competitive. This site would probably not be something an established author would want to take part in, but I believe that those who are good at writing and looking to get started by making some money will be the ones that are attracted to this the most.

Giveaways are probably not the way to go with the site though. That’s best left to books you write yourself, or PLR content rather than paying for someone to write ebooks for you.

The books that come from this type of thing should be sold.

There’s lots of ways to make money online. Some are big opportunities and some are small. Like I said, for established authors that get all kinds of work probably won’t want to do this sort of thing. Retired individuals or stay at home moms that just want some extra cash can really benefit from the easy money though.

  5. There are indeed a lot of ways to make money online and this tip is one. I agree that fiverr.com is another site that can be a good source to make money online. But I have to say that if you’re someone who’s just a beginner, starting out small is not all that bad. The experience alone is worth a lot so I think that $1 per page writing at http://www.1dWrite.com is a good enough starting rate.

Agreed. I sometimes take on small projects myself, even though I don’t have to. A dollar is a dollar, and experience has value as well.

I definitely agree with the comments above that there are many ways in making money online and the best way is blogging though it seems not easy but if you will pay much time and focus you can actually monetize it. By the way that’s truly a good news to all authors that they can earn money through writing ebooks with 1$ per page that sounds great to me!

  13. Hey Brandon,

I like the idea of the site as a way to make some cash while getting started in internet marketing. Have you ever checked out http://www.odesk.com ? I made $100 writing a 10,000 word e-book there which is a lot more than $1 per page. The only bad thing is that there is a lot of writers and the clients can be picky as to who they use.

Does http://www.1dWrite.com have a lot of clients waiting for people to write for them? If so, I might have to check it out because it took me over a month to get hired for that $100 e-book job I was telling you about.

    Thanks,

    ~Jeremy

ODesk isn’t comparable to 1dWrite.com at all. Firstly, 1dWrite is very new. There are a few gigs listed, and only a very small number of approved authors. It’s a good time to get in and grab what’s available. It’s wise to assume that the authors that started when 1dWrite begun would get priority on jobs later on as the site grows, due to seniority.

  15. Well, I’ll definitely be checking it out to see all it has to offer. It sounds like a great opportunity for anyone to make some money while building their business. Right now I am focusing most of my efforts on list building… it could really help me make some money while waiting for results.

Thanks for the recommendation, Brandon. I’ll comment later and let everyone know what my results are after really giving 1dwrite.com a go.

    Take care,

    ~Jeremy

The way Is ee it, every page written is another way to get visitors to my site. If I can make an extra buck by placing a link back to my money site then what can be wrong with that?

  18. I am with others, while I like to get a deal on articles and ebooks, hate to see people writing for such a low price. But as mentioned, if one is in need of some cash, this could come in very handy.

I’ve tried hiring people to write in the past and they have always flaked out on me, so this site might be a better route.
