How to Unlock My BlackBerry
Jan 3rd
This is a bit unrelated to my blog topics that I normally cover, but I am bringing it up because of a recent change I am forced to make. I have been with AT&T for a year, and they are charging WAAAY too much for service. I am able to get even better service through T-Mobile, so I am making a switch right now actually.
The problem with switching is that I use a BlackBerry Torch. It is locked to AT&T, so I wouldn’t be able to use it with anyone else. Well, I went to JustBlackBerryUnlocks.com and for my unlock codes More >
Get Rid of the Google Redirect Virus
Mar 26th
I know this isn’t my tech blog, but my audience is made up of people who use the computer on a daily basis. With this in mind, I felt the need to warn you about the Google Redirect Virus. It is a nasty little thing that got ahold of one of my laptops not too long ago. What happened is that it hijacked every browser I had installed. I couldn’t get ANY antivirus to kill it. It was horrible, and I had to use a totally different computer to do my work.
There is a solution to the google redirect virus More >
Some Updates to This Blog
Jan 24th
In case you haven’t noticed, I had the blog on maintenance for a day because I transferred it to a new server. By doing this, I am saving $85 per month. Unfortunately, as with any website transfer of a site this size, problems are going to arise. One such problem is that the forum may not be fully functional. I am working on this issue, and it will be fixed shortly.
Another problem with transferring to a new server is the fact that I have 80+ websites, and they all need to be transferred. Only 2 have been transferred so far. Looks More >
A Joke to Enjoy the Holiday
Dec 24th
There was an old couple who had been married for thirty years.
Every morning the old man would wake up and give off an enormous fart, much to his long suffering wife’s annoyance.
“You’ll fart your guts out one of these days,” she always complained.
After a particularly bad week the wife decided to have her revenge and got up early, placing some turkey giblets in the bed next to the old man’s ass.
While making breakfast downstairs she heard his usual morning fart reverberate through the floorboards followed by a scream.
Twenty minutes later a rather shaken man came downstairs.

TSA Stories Anyone?
Nov 26th
Over the past month, I have been watching constant news stories pop up on Yahoo! which happens to be my homepage, about travelers who have felt violated or molested by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). In addition, their backscatter xray machine which is supposed to not be able to take photos of travelers, is indeed capable of doing so as it was leaked that the agents were keeping a huge amount of snapshots of the nude pictures.
Because of all of this stuff, Alex and I thought it necessary to open up a forum of sorts where travelers can tell their More >
Our New Blog… BEWARE!
Nov 25th
What happens when Brandon Connell teams up with Alex Whalley and they are allowed to reproduce on the web? ScrewedByLife.com is what happens!
I have been looking to start a new blog for some time now, but I knew I would need a partner. Who best that someone I deal with on a daily basis. Australia is so close to Illinois after-all right?
The new blog isn’t settled on a niche. It is based on my believe of the anti-niche actually. Screwed By Life is a blog that allows us to discuss pretty much anything we want to talk about.

How to Give Up on Your Dreams
Oct 25th
The idea of giving up on my dreams has crossed my mind every single day for 29 years. That’s my entire life. But it hasn’t crossed my mind in the way that you would think. When I thought about giving up on my dreams, my thoughts were “NEVER”, and that is how it has been every single day until tonight. It is 12:20 am on October 25th, 2010 as I write this. What got me thinking was earlier when Jean from VirginBloggerNotes.com announced that she is giving up blogging. It was kind of upsetting because she has been in this More >
Help a Person in Need… Firefighters Won’t!
Oct 6th
I was inspired to write this post because of a Yahoo! News article I read late last night when I should have been sleeping. But the title of that article just caught my eye because it made me think I was in Iran or some other 3rd world country where people don’t understand what civilized means.
The article in question? It was about a guy in Tennessee who’s house caught on fire. When he called 911, the firefighters refused to come and put out the fire because the homeowner didn’t pay a required $75 fee ahead of time for their services. More >
Being a Blogger Holds Legal Risks
Aug 21st
If you are an American, you must be familiar with the constant daily argument that free speech is a right. The problem is that this “law” is challenged on a daily basis. It is challenged in many ways, including top secret government attacks on the character of the person practicing free speech.
The reason that sparked this post is the recent arrest warrant that went out for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. I saw that major press release, and then maybe an hour later I saw that the arrest warrant was canceled just as fast as it was placed.

When McDonalds Tells You That It’s Breakfast and You Can’t Have Lunch Items
Aug 11th
Ok. Now I can honestly say that I wanted to do this at times. This girl actually did it. Maybe McDonalds will get the hint and just give people what they want from now on.
Note: there is no sound. I thought something happened with my audio driver at first. Then I realized this was a security camera and it most likely had no sound. I verified that by reports.
UPDATE: They removed the video. It was a security camera in a McDonalds drive-through and the woman who drove up wanted chicken nuggets. The girl at the window refused because it was More >
