top1mill Destination: Top 1 Million in Alexa; Arrival: 2 days I have been closing in on it for a long time running now. Finally, I have reached the turning point where I am about to cross the top 1 million sites in Alexa.

As you may know, the top 1 million sites are made available as a csv download on Alexa’s top sites page. This data is used by other sites that track top sites in Alexa. I will be passing my goal in 2 days tops. This is based on my gain of approximately 100,000 per day as of lately.

After I reach the top million, my new Alexa goal will be reaching the top 500. If I do this, I will appear on the top sites pages. This will result in even more traffic and exposure.

You have to consider that sites who achieve these goals tend to get written about by other bloggers. The reason for this is that each blogger wants to reach these goals, and it is a universal accomplishment.

I am also making some gains on Technorati which will result in more traffic and exposure. I rise in points on Technorati every day as well.
