How You Can Get Easy Traffic by Linking to Me

Did you know that you can get some easy traffic to your website by linking to me? Not just me, but people like me too. As a blogger, and internet marketer, I often find myself checking my stats. I check the referrers for visits that come in, and I also check for websites that are linking to me. When I see one, I almost always visit it to see what it’s all about.

Linking to me in your blogroll or some other part of your site can get you traffic because if I find what’s on the site useful in some way, I might either link back or mention it in a post as a reference. This is common practice actually, and if you are not doing it, I suggest you start now.

One would think that by providing an outbound link, you are losing traffic. That’s just not the case. You didn’t get the visit in the first place from your outbound link. You either got it from an inbound link or a search engine result. The benefits of linking to good blogs and resourceful website outweigh the negatives.

  3. I think so too. Jean is incredible. (I have to say that so maybe she’ll let me stay at her mansion this summer!)

I think you have a mansion too. Mapquest tells me from Columbus to Galesburg:

Total Travel Estimate: 7 hours 6 minutes / 436.56 miles.

I should take a summer trip and visit everyone on my blog roll.

Hahahaha, Watch out for Scott. Ok now my last post is in English? OK confused much.
Great post Brandon, combines a call to action with a good traffc technique. I have to say that Scott barron is single handedly connecting me to so many great blogs (yours included) and I think he is a one man blog roll at the moment.
Will be posting some linkbait article about all the great blogs I have been finding and you have definitely earned a link on that list (espeically cause you simply asked – good lesson there too)

I swear Scott is really trying hard to remain on my top 5 commentators list in #1. Thanks for the future link love.

    Hi Brandon,

I have read a few of your articles now and intend to come back every day or so. As such, you will be placed on my blogroll. This is a privilege that many more people would have if only I could remember to put them there. Have a nice day.
