Reasons Why Overcrowding Will Never Negatively Impact Blogs
I was reading an article on one of the major blogs out there (ViperChill), and it’s owner was speaking about not having anything to write about because it has already been covered in-depth.
I would have to say that even though things have been said to death, blogs will never go old regurgitating the same information over and over. You have to look at it like this. When one blog is talking about one thing, another blog is talking about something else. So basically each blog ends up rotating the same information with different words over and over. Will this die out? Umm no. It hasn’t died out since the 90′s when it started.
You can compare this to the latest research whatever it may be. One day wine will help prevent heart disease, then the next day it creates heart disease. They basically say the same thing every time but with a sprinkle of new data, and by using new sentence structure to say it.
You can search some of the big blogs, and go through their posts in a specific category. Find a new one, and compare it to an old one on the same subject. Go ahead and see what I mean. Not even the big blogs are immune from this.

Writing copy that has already been said is nothing to be ashamed of. If it were, there would be no journalism in the world. Books would have died out centuries ago.
I often find myself getting excellent ideas from other bloggers. While I do sometimes visit the biggies, I have my own list of blogs that I like to visit. I also find that the smaller blogs tend to visit my own blog on a daily basis.
Obviously, your favorite bloggers will be different based on the internet marketing path you have chosen. But the concept is the same.
Some of my favorite blogs are:
and many others. I find that the smaller blogs are hungrier for success, but most importantly they are still human and have yet to get fat-headed with success. I have never seen ProBlogger return the favor when I comment on their blog.
There are many other ways to come up with great content. You can find it pretty much everywhere you look, and nobody will be tired of reading it.

I had a fiction writing instructor tell me many years ago, “Forget about coming up with an original idea. Everything has already been written about. Now, tell me YOUR story.”
What he meant was to put my unique twist on the pre-existing ideas. It works the same way with blogging. When we get out and ‘have a life’ all of a sudden we can ask ourselves, “how does this relate to blogging,” and almost always, we’ll see that our husband’s perseverance to graduate can teach other bloggers something or our own desire to enjoy the summer can be shared to help other bloggers do the same. Or, maybe we just blew up our computer and can help others avoid the same mistakes.
Look within, look around, and then write is my new motto.

Hi Brandon
As you tweeted this figure I can still comment
So far, I haven’t bumped into any other blogs doing exactly as I am doing so most of my readers are learning about all things lavender from me and seem happy with my content.
However, if information on the more popular topics of blogging, making money on the net to name two; is presented in an innovative way I think it will engage readers. If it’s just fluff then I bounce off as plenty of quality posts I can go and read.
I stopped going to the big boys blogs awhile back. No interaction and some of the stuff was being rehashed! Rather be building community with people like Alex Whalley, Rick LaPoint, Thu, Murray, Adam, Lye I could go on. Some great bloggers out there that’s for sure.

Interesting stuff, and I totally agree with you. Thing is, if people use their own words you can take any topic, have everyone write on it, and come up with different points of view or at least different ways of saying the same thing. That’s what makes content truly unique.
