Why Bloggers Need to Innovate to Stay Strong
Aug 20th
The world of blogging is not the same now as if you had started blogging back in 2002. If you started back then, you probably have a similar success with income generation as Darren Rowse from ProBlogger. If not, then you are trying to yank yourself out of the pile of millions of new bloggers that are trying to make a primary living from blogging.
The great thing is that you can still make money blogging by selling ad space, affiliate marketing, etc. But in order to stand out above the rest, you need to come up with something with massive More >
Reasons Why Overcrowding Will Never Negatively Impact Blogs
May 30th
I was reading an article on one of the major blogs out there (ViperChill), and it’s owner was speaking about not having anything to write about because it has already been covered in-depth.
I would have to say that even though things have been said to death, blogs will never go old regurgitating the same information over and over. You have to look at it like this. When one blog is talking about one thing, another blog is talking about something else. So basically each blog ends up rotating the same information with different words over and over. Will this die More >
Is Your Blog Modern? It Can Be…
May 23rd
Blogging has changed in 2010, and it is nothing like it was in the 90′s. This is the reason why so many blogs fail due to a lack of instant success. Bloggers are still working with the 90′s mindset. Today though, I have brought my blog into the future. How you ask? Video. Ok, so video isn’t necessarily new. But video comments are not widely used yet. I will give you a moment to scroll down to the comment section right now and see a new addition.
By providing your readers with the ability to add video comments, you are allowing More >
The Reason Why New Blogs Don’t Take Off
May 22nd
When you start a blog, you are eager to make it a success. So eager, that you fantasize and daydream about how successful it will be. Problem is, it takes time for a blog to take off for good reason.
When someone first sees a blog, they look for consistency. Without regular blog posting, a blog can become stale. It can easily turn into one of those never updated blogs that end up being hacked and riddled with malware. On top of that, the information on the blog gets very old.
Blog readers want to know that your blog is here to More >
Destination: Top 1 Million in Alexa; Arrival: 2 Days
May 15th
I have been closing in on it for a long time running now. Finally, I have reached the turning point where I am about to cross the top 1 million sites in Alexa.
As you may know, the top 1 million sites are made available as a csv download on Alexa’s top sites page. This data is used by other sites that track top sites in Alexa. I will be passing my goal in 2 days tops. This is based on my gain of approximately 100,000 per day as of lately.
After I reach the top million, my new Alexa goal will More >
Do I Be Careful Because I’m Popular?
May 14th
Everything points to this blog being pretty big and growing now. My Technorati authority is over 400 and growing (on it’s way to 1k); my Alexa Rank is getting better (almost in the top million); comments are growing; I have tons of indexed pages; and the list goes on. When one comes into this situation, one would think “oh no, maybe I should start being careful with what I say because there are actually readers now”.
I have never been one to think before I speak. I would have to say that just because I can see what I am writing More >
The Anti-Bandwagon: ALL ABOARD!
May 3rd
I have spent some time today browsing other blogs, and I have noticed that they all seem the same in a way. Their writing style; the need to sound professional; their butt-kissing of other popular blogs hoping to get trackbacks or a mention from another blogger; and the list goes on.
You can say that I am the anti-niche. I don’t believe that you need to stick to a specific topic in order to become popular. Actually, I have proven otherwise to be true. The problem is that there aren’t many bloggers out there that are willing to learn for themselves, More >
Forget a Home, I Live in My Blog
May 3rd
I find myself on the backend of my blog daily. Not just daily, but multiple times a day. The reason for this is that it is becoming a successful blog now. I watch my live stats and it is rare for there not to be a visitor or multiple search engine spiders reading a post or a page.
So, this is what success looks like. Or at least the beginning of it. Are you a failed blogger? Do you see what might have been? I have always took in what I read on other blogs with skepticism. Bloggers speaking of success More >

Major Turn-Offs From a Professional Bloggers Point of View

Wow, it has been a crazy couple of weeks. After the contest winners announcement and the release of my new ebook (free when you sign-up for my free newsletter), I am now into the full-swing of things here. I will probably even be blogging multiple times per day again. I just wanted to write this one because there are a few things that just turn me off as a professional blogger.
I do this on a full time basis, so consider that I don’t really vent very much outside of the house. Excuse my occasional rants, but I find them to More >
