I have spent some time today browsing other blogs, and I have noticed that they all seem the same in a way. Their writing style; the need to sound professional; their butt-kissing of other popular blogs hoping to get trackbacks or a mention from another blogger; and the list goes on.

You can say that I am the anti-niche. I don’t believe that you need to stick to a specific topic in order to become popular. Actually, I have proven otherwise to be true. The problem is that there aren’t many bloggers out there that are willing to learn for themselves, so they read other blogs and follow the popular opinion on how to become successful and popular. I use the trial-and-error method of blogging, and my research has paid off.

anti train 300x195 The anti bandwagon: ALL ABOARD!I invite other blog authors to jump on the anti-bandwagon, and avoid the niche. Post personal topics on your blog paired with multiple hobbies or unexpected topics. Your blog will thank you.

I have not yet mentioned that you can have some major success by being controversial. What I mean is that you should avoid the norm. People with lots of personality can do well with a blog, and those with a lack of inhibitions. Don’t worry about what other people think. If they don’t like what you write, then they don’t like you for you.

If you just believe me that a niche doesn’t determine your success, and that it is your determination that is what will make or break you, then you will see this for yourself.

 The anti bandwagon: ALL ABOARD!
