What I Plan to Do With My Blog Income
I have been working hard my entire life to ensure that I am self-sufficient. I never want to work for anyone else again! By blogging, I am putting my income on auto pilot. This will allow me to have much more time to spend with my wife and kids. I will be able to take vacations instead of saving up to be poor.
I am not your average greedy individual. I used to have big dreams, and I could have made them a reality. But nowadays I just want a drama-free life and the ability to pay my bills without worrying about the next month.
My intentions are to secure enough income from blogging to where I am able to start up a charity to get the homeless off the street in the United States. I see a lot of rich people always helping out in Africa, but who helps people in the U.S.? So in order to help people in the U.S. I think that year-round shelters need to be opened up with education centers in them. It will allow people to learn new job skills, and provide them with the clothing and grooming they need to get a job.
My realistic goal for this blog is $10,000 per month through direct ad sales, affiliate offers, and Adsense. Want to help me reach my goal? Visit this page!

You’re absolutely right. I also wonder who helps us?
Being unemployed has taught me a lot about our unemployment system in USA. I sit and watch a live telethon, put on by our American actors in Los Angeles to raise money for a natural disaster in other countries.
That hurts as we have millions of Americans who are unemployed, uninsured and homeless. Swept under the rug.
1.2 million people have lost their unemployment benefits this week because the Senate went on their 2 week Memorial day vacation last week WITHOUT signing the unemployment emergency fund extension bill. Their vacation was more important than the unemployed and I’m furious.
Do we get a telethon?

I hear you. Back before I started working from home, I was homeless wondering the same thing.

Those are some hefty goals! Are you getting much from Adsense? I getting close to 200 impressions a day from Adsense with 0 clicks on the blog. All you guys avoid the ads like the plague.

I just had $100 deposited in my bank account from Adsense. But that was from before I took my ads down. I just recently stuck them back up now that I have more traffic.

Hi Brandon, I added a link to this post on my blog sidebar under “my fav blogs”.
Like you I am not chasing millions online, a nice steady income online would do me fine.
Really hope you achieve your goal, rooting for ya!

Thank you Sally for the support! Quick question. I am designing a free premium web template. Any ideas on a theme for the design?

Heya, Brandon! I think the goal you have set in your mind is very realistic and doable. If you put in the right amount of time and dedication, I see no reason why you shouldn’t be able to make $10,000/ month from this blog alone!
I believe that it is much better to work from home, for yourself, then for “The Man”. I’m currently planning to start a couple of sites myself, as well as reviving my personal blog ( which you’ve just visited not long ago – http://www.wallachianblogger.net ). Just like yourself and other visitors of your blog, I’m not looking to make millions, but rather live a decent life and not have to worry about not having enough cash to pay the bills. I’m sorry for not being greedy, but it’s just not my type
.
In the end, I would like to wish you good luck with your ventures and may you accomplish all the goals you have set!
Best regards,
Tiberius, a.k.a The Wallachian Blogger

Hello Tiberius and thank you for the visit. I plan to achieve the $10k from this blog alone so that I can provide my readers with even more than I currently put in. Just imagine if I didn’t have a web design and seo business… I would spend all of my time here!

Hello Brandon,
I saw your blog mentioned on Sally Neill’s site and decided to come over and check your site out.
Wow, you have a great goal for your blog. I haven’t set a monetary goal for my blog yet and have just gotten started with blogging. I am still learning the ropes but will be stopping by to check out your site often.
You have a very worthy goal in mind and I look forward to hearing how you reach your goals.
Thanks!
Warmly,
Alice McHard

Hello Josh. I am doing very well if you count all of the consulting, design, writing, and marketing gigs that the blog provides. There are other things that make me money on this blog as well. But I plan to convert this into a less hands-on deal not to far down the road.

That’s good to hear. I have been blogging for a while and doing a lot of freelance work for others. I recently started a blog to chronicle the things I’ve learned along the way and to sort of act as an online portfolio for my work. Most of the money I make from my blog comes from the writing jobs it provides me. I’m not really making anything from Ads or Affiliates, but that wasn’t my goal with this blog.

Well that’s ok because most people simply want to work from home. That is a starting point. If you can turn it into a residual thing that takes very little input from you, then all the better.

I would love to earn most of my money from the ads on my site and just worry about adding 1 new post a day instead of doing 5-10 articles for clients a day. Right now I don’t have the traffic to generate that kind of income though.

Just give it time. You will get that traffic eventually.
